BIOGRAPHY
Angela Riefenthaler was born in 1983 in Villach (Austria).
At an early age, she took violin, piano and Flute lessons, graduated in 2003 at the Vienna Music High School and began during the School studying for "instrumental and vocal pedagogy" with a major in Flute at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Followed in 2007 by the study of the "vocal pedagogy" with Prof. Berka-Schmid and later Prof. Hans man under whose care they award their 2012 Baccalaureate examination completed.
Along with adequate concerts and church involvement as a freelance singer (uA alto solo in the Golden Hall of the Vienna Musikverein in Haydn's "The Creation", and in the great hall of the Konzerthaus in Mozart's "Coronation Mass" in the chorus Salzburg Festival and the addition Choir of the Vienna State Opera, various choir solos), it is since 2013 after 3 years of Substitutentätigkeit as permanent member of the choir of the Vienna Volksoper busy.
Angela is a member of the Volksoper Wein Choir.
In 2012, she performed in the Volks Oper Wein production of Madame Pompadour as Léonie.
From October 2014, Angela will be studying for a Master's degree at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna for vocal pedagogy with Prof. Vierlinger.
