Carolina Rocha, from Chile, has suggested the wonderful American Contralto Louise Homer. Homer started her career as a vaudeville entertainer in New England, before becoming a very successful Opera Singer. She created the roles of the witch in Engelbert Humperdinck's Königskinder and the title role in Horatio Parker's Mona, and sang with such esteemed voices as Enrico Caruso and Ernestine Schumann-Heink. She was also the aunt of acclaimed American Composer Samuel Barber.
