Today's update is Polish contralto Ewa Wolak.
The dark and plummy voice of Polish contralto Ewa Wolak is a permanent fixture at the opera house in Karlsruhe. Wolak has performed and recorded many of the key contralto roles, inlcluding Carmen, Cornelia, La Cieca, Erda, Gaea, Olga, Quickly, Ulrica and Isabella in Rossini's Italiana in Algeri. A true contralto, she is definitely a singer to watch!
