| Today's contralto is the Israeli Mira Zakai. Mira Zakai is a world class recitalist and opera singer. She has a wide ranging repertoire, spanning roles such as Erda and Ulrica to Prince Orlovsky. Yehudi Menuhin chose her to be the only soloist in a special concert for Pope John Paul II, performing Bach's "Erbame dich". Check out her videos and info. |
