Today's Contralto update is Thalie Séféris.
A true contralto with a dark, rich and powerful timbre, Thalie Séféris is a wonderful exponent of the works of Wagner, Mahler and Brahms. She also excels in Oratorio. Perhaps one day we will hear her sing Gaea in Strauss' Daphne: she certainly has the range and vocal colour for the role.
